The BIDDER must accompany its Bid with a bid security equivalent to TEN PERCENT (10%) of the price proposed in its Bid. This tender guarantee must be produced in one of the following forms: a) a guarantee issued in favor of the PUBLIC BODY by a Financial Institution as defined in the tender documents and which must conform to the model indicated in the Tender Form; b) an irrevocable letter of guarantee issued in favor of the PUBLIC BODY by a Financial Institution as defined in the tender documents and which must conform to the model indicated in the Tender Form. Any Submission received after the scheduled date and time or received in a location other than that indicated is automatically declared non-compliant and returned to the sender without having been opened. Only BIDDERS having a business office in Quebec or in a province or territory concerned when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable and holding the license required under the Building Act are allowed to tender. A TENDERER holding a restricted license issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec or registered in the register of enterprises not eligible for public contracts (RENA) and whose period of ineligibility for public contracts has not ended, is not admitted to submit a Submission; these two cases of ineligibility are also applicable to the subcontractors of the Bidder. Tenderers are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their Tender; and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose on them and ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses. Question and clarification: BIDDERS who wish to receive information or clarifications on this call for tenders must do so in writing (email) by communicating with the contact person indicated in this call for tenders and taking care to mention the title and the number of the call for tenders ( Updating the library - HSMAP - CNIM2021-042 ). BIDDERS are invited to participate in the site visit offered by the PUBLIC BODY but the visit is not compulsory. However, the fact of not participating can not be used as an excuse or pretext for errors, omissions or irregularities on the part of a TENDERER. Each TENDERER is responsible for delegating a representative to this meeting. In addition, the PUBLIC BODY assumes no responsibility with respect to BIDDERS who did not show up for the site visit in relation to the information that may have been given during it. Performance bond and materials and services of each corresponding 50% is required. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
