The project shall consist of the installation of approximately 1,850 feet of storm drainage on 2nd Street and on East Ashley Ave (between 2nd Street and 3rd Street), waterline replacement and sidewalk replacement The project, located in the City of Folly Beach in Charleston County, shall consist of the installation of approximately 1,850 feet of storm drainage on 2nd Street and on East Ashley Ave (between 2nd Street and 3rd Street). The work shall also include two City of Folly Beach projects on 2nd Street, the first is for a waterline replacement project for approximately 320 feet of 4" PVC pipe and approximately 109 feet of (4" & 6") ductile iron pipe and the second is for a sidewalk project for the installation of approximately 165 feet of a variable width (9.8'-4.6') concrete sidewalk and approximately 180 feet of a 6 foot wide pervious asphalt sidewalk. In addition, the work shall include, but is not limited to, installing vehicle parking spaces on 2nd Street, asphalt driveway aprons, milling and resurfacing of asphalt pavement, erosion and sediment control, and traffic control. The project will be constructed utilizing the items listed on the bid forms for each project (E. Ashley Drainage Project, Waterline Replacement Project, and the Sidewalk Project bid forms) in the solicitation.
