Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Springfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project base bid includes approximately 49,800 SY of milling, 8,875 tons of bituminous surface course paving of roadways, selective base repair, pavement crack repair, handicap ramp replacement, selective bituminous and concrete driveway apron replacement, curb replacement, storm sewer pipe construction, inlet reconstruction, traffic striping, traffic signage replacement, and related appurtenances on Petticoat Bridge Road, Mount Pleasant Road, Paddock Drive, Heritage Drive, Devi Drive, Wynwood Drive, Warner Road from Jacksonville Jobstown Road to 3,500 feet South, stormwater drainage repairs at 1134 Smithville Road, and roadway repairs at 3 & 9 Village Drive. Each bid must be accompanied by the documents listed on the Bid Document Submission Checklist and a proposal guarantee in the form of a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Price Bid in the proposal; except that when the Total Price Bid is $200,000.00 or more, the amount of the proposal guarantee shall be $20,000.00. In no case shall the guarantee be less than $500.00. The proposal guarantee must be in the form of a bid bond, or certified check, or cashier's check or a combination thereof, and must be drawn to the order of Springfield Township and must be delivered at the place and by the hour above-named. Proposals received after the designated time shall be deemed unresponsive and shall not be opened. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq and N.J.A.C. 17:27. This project is being partially funded by an NJDOT grant. The Township of Springfield reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive any insignificant defect or informality in any bid should it be in the interest of the Township to do so as allowed by law. The work of this Contract shall commence within ten (10) calendar days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed and shall be completed within ninety (90) calendar days of commencement
