Renovation of a medical facility in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
*Construction is complete. Only Prequalified General Contractors from RFSQ SB 2019-0812 may submit bid submissions on this Tender. The intent of this Bid call is to solicit and receive a formal Bid for M Wing MG435 & MG437 Urology Xray Renovations for Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Sunnybrook intends on replacing two aged GE OEC Xray machines within Urology MG435 & MG437. The renovations shall include but not limited to the following work scope: - Removal of fixed or built-in casework furnishings, Xray view boxes mounted, millwork on the walls within MG435 and MG437 to allow lead shielding upgrades within the existing partitions; - Remove/re-install any mechanical (plumbing disconnections for sinks) and electrical services on any wall (i.e. receptacles, digital wall clock, etc) to allow the partitions to be exposed to enable lead shielding upgrades; - Patchwork and associated repairs to adjacent walls, epoxy flooring finishes to accommodate installation of the new Siemens Xray equipment; - The approximate area of renovation within each Urology Room is 728.50 sf; - Remove/re-install the patient ceiling lift in order to install the new Siemens Xray Equipment system; - New paint finishes to walls, ceilings and door frames throughout; - It is understood that the physical room layout of the existing Urology rooms will remain the same including the shared Control Booth which is currently being used as general storage; - Remove existing Xray wiring, raceway, conduit systems for existing Xray systems being removed; - Install new Xray wiring, raceway, conduit systems for new SIEMENS Omnia Max Xray systems; - Modification to existing 480 volt Electrical Service for new Xray Equipment; - Remove existing Lighting, install new LED lighting fixtures with dimming controls; - Modify existing Medical Gas system, relocate existing Medical gas outlets and upgrade of the zone valve box and alarm panel.
