The scope of work consists of constructing concrete shared-use path, boardwalk, stand alone comfort station, drinking fountain, interpretive signs, Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) pavement, CMU walls, and concrete curbs; modifying drainage system; installing waterline, sewer line, wheel stops, landscaping, and signs; grading; and traffic control. The basic bid shall consist of the path construction between Papaloa Road and Coconut Beach Resort and the interpretive sign at Coconut Beach Resort. The additive bid shall consist of the comfort station at Coconut Plantation and all associated work items, including HMA Pavement along driveway, utility connections, and all work on Kuhio Highway. The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000 for the base bid and between $500,000 and $1,000,000 for the additive.
