Site work for a development in Joliet, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a development.
This project generally includes restoring natural hydrology by filling two existing ditches and disabling drain tiles. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents. Bids shall be accompanied by the proper bid security. The FOREST PRESERVE DISTRICT OF WILL COUNTY reserves the right to accept any bid or any part or parts or combinations thereof, to waive any informalities or irregularities, and to reject any or all bids. By Order of the Board of Commissioners of the Forest Preserve District of Will County. For questions regarding the project, contact Juli Mason at jmason@fpdwc.org or 815-722-5373. Work shall begin within 10 business days of receipt of the written Notice to Proceed. Work shall be completed in accordance with the Contract Documents by March 1, 2022, as provided in the General Conditions, Article IV, Section 4.4. The Forest Preserve has set a goal to secure up to 16% of the contracted amount for contracted services and improvement projects to disadvantaged businesses. The cost estimate for the project is $150,000. The estimated start date is October 25, 2021.
