For furnishing and delivery of twenty four (24) months' supply of Nitrate Oxygen for the removal of hydrogen sulfide and other common odors in wastewater collection and treatment plant, commencing on NOVEMBER 1, 2021 through OCTOBER 31, 2023, in accordance with specifications which are on file in the offices of the Authority at the above address, and may be examined at that address, during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., prevailing time Monday through Friday. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, and the name of the proposed work on the outside. It shall be addressed to the Executive Director of the Authority at the above address, and marked clearly on the outside lower left hand corner "Sealed Bid-Nitrate Oxygen". The bid shall clearly set forth the proposed price for the twenty-four (24) months' supply of Nitrate Oxygen. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Authority as a guarantee that if the Contract is awarded to the bidder, that the bidder will enter into a Contract. The amount to be deposited shall be ten percent ( 10%) of the base bid but shall not, in any case, exceed $20,000.00. Bids must be made on the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S .A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J. A.C 17:27 (Affirmative Action); and P.L. 1963, C. 150; (Prevailing Wage); and Americans With Disabilities Act. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 2004 C 57, State of New Jersey of Business Registration Certificate. This shall be submitted with the bid proposal. The Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any and all bids. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date of said opening. Approximate number of gallons to be supplied is 17,000.
