Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Leesburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The Western Loudoun Recreation Complex ("Complex") includes the construction of a new fully licensed, 83,000 gross square-foot recreation facility ("Facility") and park ("Park") on the 142.71-acre site. The Project will be located on three (3) adjoining parcels at 36716 W. Main Street, Purcellville, Virginia (just outside of the Town of Purcellville limits). The Loudoun County Parcel Identification Numbers (PINs) are: 523-47-8975-000 (78.84 acres), 523-48-4422-000 (5.23 acres), and 522-18-2896-000 (58.64 acres). PIN 523-47- 8975-000 is mostly undeveloped, with four (4) existing structures near Main Street. PINs 523-48-4422-000 and 522-18-2896-000 are completely undeveloped. The estimated construction cost for the Western Loudoun Recreation Complex is $122,687,000. Construction funding will be available in Fiscal Year 2026, allowing construction to begin as early as spring 2026 and is expected to continue through winter 2028.
