Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in King City, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium; fire / police facility; library; and municipal facility.
King Township is working with Natural Resources Canada to create a township wide electric vehicle charging network. This project aims to provide electric vehicle charging stations to the public throughout the municipality, located on municipal property around our arenas, libraries, and firehalls. The purpose of this is to increase and invective electric vehicle update while reducing common barriers to electric vehicle ownership like range anxiety. King Township is located along the highway 400 corridor and thus will provide charging ports for commuters who may be travelling north or south from outside the GTHA. This network will increase potential local tourism from thru-charging. The chargers being installed are from the manufacturer Chargepoint and will include both level 2 and level 3 stations, this tender will require the general contracting, electrical and civil work of this project Documents can be obtained at: https://king.bidsandtenders.ca Question Deadline: Wed Sep 1, 2021 11:00:00 AM (EDT) SCOPE OF WORK Installation of electric vehicle charge stations and modification to building electrical distribution to allow for electrical vehicles (EV) at various City of King Township buildings. *Award is subject to final approval.
