Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Carroll, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Work on the project shall commence immediately upon approval of the contract by the Council. Contractor shall fully complete the project no later than May 15, 2022. Should the contractor fail to complete the work in this timeframe, liquidated damages of $500.00 per calendar day will be assessed for work not completed within the designated contract term. The City of Carroll, Iowa does hereby reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract, or contracts, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the jurisdiction. This project includes repairs to damaged stormwater infrastructure, bank stabilization, concrete retaining wall construction, stream bank grading and excavation, and seeding and stabilization. The project specifications shall be Iowa Statewide Urban Design Standards (Current Version) and the City of Carroll Supplemental Specifications (2021). The City of Carroll, Iowa hereinafter called the "Jurisdiction," has need of a qualified contractor to complete the work comprising the below referenced improvement. The undersigned Bidder hereby proposes to complete the work comprising the below referenced improvement as specified in the contract documents, which are officially on file with the Jurisdiction, in the office of the City Clerk, for the following described improvements:
