Sediment control following a "Standard Plan" attached. The disturbance is estimated at under 5,000 SF. Grading, excavation (unclassified) and disposal of excess soil at approved site. Reestablish drainage swale and embankment shall be compacted per Maryland 378 Pond Specs. Install 250'+ of24" per SD-040 HDPE (already on site) and connect to existing inlet and manhole. Use bedding stone on site, provide any additional needed. Install manhole/inlet to grade (base structure on site). Dispose ofexisting corrugated metal storm drain, fill areas. Place 4" topsoil and establish turf(5% retainage held until turf established). All other related items necessary to complete the work. City staffwill provide construction stakeout. Bid prices submitted shall include furnishing all labor, equipment and materials to complete the project as described above and as shown on drawing 31-339-01. Bidders shall use the proposal form provided in this Request. Payment shall be made to the contractor upon satisfactory completion of the work, as deemed by the City Engineer; therefore, no bonds are required and no progress payments made. By entering into this contract, the contractor agrees to provide a 100% warranty for a period on ONE (1) year against material or workmanship defects and will fully replace the defects at the contractor's cost and the City Engineer's direction. The City of Hagerstown anticipates award of this contract on September 28, 2021, and that a Notice to Proceed will be issued in October 2021. The contractor shall complete all the work outlined within thirty (30) working days after the Notice to Proceed date. No pre-bid conference will be held.
