Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; swimming pool; and swimming pool.

08020013, 011044 The work of this single bid project includes the renovation of the existing three-court gymnasium and to infill the existing pool. The gymnasium will get new flooring and bleachers on south wall (north wall bleachers removed permanently), dividing nets, perimeter padding, refurbished operable partitions and backboards, new scoreboards and scorer's table, an integrated sound system, new emergency light fixtures and accessible exit doors, complete painting refresh, and installed, campus provided, automated camera system and wireless access point units. The pool area will see only limited work; structural concrete slab over compacted structural fill in the existing non-regulation size pool. The existing deck tile and bed will be removed and a continuous finish floor will be installed. Additionally, all equipment serving the pool in room B-071 to be removed and lines grout filled. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule. EEO goals for this project: 6% minority workforce and 3% female workforce Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 5% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 10% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 3% Estimated Range $5,000,000 - $10,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The project site is located at 1400 Washington Avenue, Albany, Albany County, New York. The intent of the limited hazardous materials survey was to identify suspect ACM, LCM, and PCB-containing caulk/sealants that are located within designated areas of the pool and gym of the Physical Education Building and may be impacted during a proposed renovation project. The limited survey did not include the gym or pool area ceilings/roof, gym windows, or interior of the pool, as directed by representatives of Lacey Thaler Reilly Wilson Architecture & Preservation, LLP. The limited hazardous materials survey was conducted for the subject areas, as directed by Beth Lacey and Paul Zullo, representing Lacey Thaler Reilly Wilson Architecture & Preservation, LLP.
