Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kirkwood, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed work includes: a pavement preservation project on Lindeman Road from the Citys northern limit, approximately 120 feet south of Montour Drive, to Dougherty Ferry Road, roughly 0.66 miles. The Lindeman Road project will consist of the following improvements: asphalt milling and overlay, concrete & asphalt curb repair, ADA compliant sidewalk, and concrete curb ramp replacements, bike lanes - buffered and a mid-block crossing, geometric improvements to the Lindeman Road / Dougherty Ferry Road intersection, and pavement marking and signage updates. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specificationsfor Highway Construction, 2011 Edition including allrevisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A certified cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The City of Kirkwood reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder.
