Site work for a water / sewer project in Marietta, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The pre-qualification requirements are based on pipe laying experience with ductile iron pipe along with personnel and financial records (1 Separately Sealed Copy). Information submitted by the contractor will be reviewed by the Authority's Engineering, Transmission and Finance staff. If pre-qualification requirements are satisfactorily met, a recommendation will be made to the Water Authority Board for pre-qualification status. Final approval is strictly a Board decision. To bid a project with the Authority, a contractor must have board approval before the date of the first public advertisement. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all applications for pre-qualification, to waive informalities and to re-advertise. The CCMWA plans to have several projects ready for construction within the next year or so. These projects contain a total of approximately 38,000 linear feet of 42-, 36-, & 24-inch Ductile Iron Pipe water mains.
