CONTRACTOR LICENSE REQUIRED: California General Engineering Contractor, Class A The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials to construct riprap-lined and shotcrete-lined drainage channels, a drop inlet structure, concrete pavement, install a segmented concrete block wall, and other incidental work. Each bid must also be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check or cashiers check payable to the Treasurer of Sacramento County, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid.The successful bidder shall be required to execute a Material and Labor Payment Bond and a Performance Bond, issued by a corporate surety, acceptable to the County of Sacramento, each for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Please submit all pre-bid questions to Peter Bowers, P.E. by email at BowersP@SacCounty.net. All pre-bid questions must be submitted in writing (including email) no later than 4:00 pm, September 17, 2021. Questions received after that time will not be answered. Responses to questions will be provided as an addendum to the bid documents. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid The time for completion of this contract shall be 60 working days commencing as specified. APPROXIMATELY 2:10 P.M. ON BID DATE
