The Project consists generally of the following scope of the Work. The scope of WORK generally consists of furnishing and installing 40,021 lineal feet of 16" diameter PVC pipeline in the 2-3I southern work zone, 33,998 lineal feet of 12" diameter PVC pipeline in the 2-5C western work zone with an alternate bid schedule to add 7,904 lineal feet of 12" diameter PVC pipeline, and 28,354 lineal feet of 12" diameter PVC pipeline in the 2-7D northern/eastern work zone. Pipeline installation includes the furnishing and installation of several CAVs, cleanouts, manual ARVs, valves, PRVs and other appurtenant items as required by the Project Drawings, Specifications, and Contract Documents. The 2-3I southern work zone is located approximately from 11 miles south to 19 miles south of Dickinson along HWY 22, the 2-5C western work zone is approximately located between South Heart and Belfield along HWY 10, the northern/eastern work zone is located approximately 2 miles north of Dickinson from 1.5 miles west of HWY 22 to 2.5 miles east of HWY 22. The date for Substantial Completion for Contract 2-3I\2-5C\2-7D is October 31, 2022. Each Bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a copy of a current and valid North Dakota Contractor's License issued at least ten (10) days prior to Bid opening, and a Bidder's Bond in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the Bid, executed by the Bidder as Principal and by a Surety, conditioned that if the Principal's Bid is accepted and the Contract awarded to Principal, the Principal, within ten (10) days after notice of award, shall execute a Contract in accordance with the terms of the Bid and a Contractor's Bond as required by law and regulations and determinations of the North Dakota Department of Water Resources. Bidders shall submit proof of qualification to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to hold all Bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date of the Bid opening to complete financial arrangements.
