Site work and paving for a civil project in Richmond, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Scope of Work of the Contract includes the following: approximately 360 LF 12-inch Steel and PVC waterline; 969 S.Y. of 7-inch concrete pavement and 280 LF Prestressed Concrete Bridge. This section specifies adding lime to natural subgrade material and compacted embankments to stabilize them. After street subgrade has been brought to grade (prior to compaction of the top six-inches (6") of subgrade) the Engineer will designate for each station as to whether lime or cement stabilization is required. If the Engineer decides that no stabilization is required then the Contractor will compact subgrade in accordance with applicable specifications and will be paid for compacted subgrade at the contract unit price
