Estimated Award Date 03/30/2022 The Project consists of: Contractor shall furnish all expertise, labor, materials, parts, equipment, and incidentals necessary to deliver a complete window security screen and shutter door installation project at the Rene C. Davidson (RCD) Courthouse, located at 1225 Fallon Street, Oakland. Contractor shall provide a full turn-key project, which may consist of the following: A. Four (4) new aluminum tube steel jambs for the 13th St and 12th St entrances B. Two (2) new Qualitas Manufacturing Inc. (QMI) motorized shutter doors. C. Approximately fifty-six (56) QMI exterior stainless steel security screens cover each windows total height The budgetary estimate for the scope of work is approximately $500,000. The time to complete this project is three hundred sixty-five days (365) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the County, cash, or a cashier check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the County of Alameda, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the County for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid.
