Description of work includes the following: The Work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and all incidentals and appurtenances for the demolition of the existing pumps, piping, valves, electrical panel, hatches, and top slabs at Lift Stations No. 6, 16, and 18 and installation of proposed pumps, piping, valves, hatches, top slabs, and electrical improvements at the respective lift station sites. Construction includes MOT's, complying with permit conditions, and all restoration work for a complete and operating system. The work is located in the Town of Lantana rights-of-way and/or easements. Reference is made to the Contract Drawings and Specifications dated August 2021 as prepared by Baxter & Woodman, Consulting Engineers attached hereto as Exhibits 2 and 3. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that all pages are included. Therefore, all Bidders are advised to thoroughly examine this package. Further instructions and conditions are stated in the bidding documents. One contract will be awarded for all work outlined and described in the plans and specifications. The Town of Lantana is exempt from Federal and State Taxes for tangible personal property. The TOWN reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and waive technicalities and/or any irregularities therein. The TOWN further reserves the right to award a contract to the bidder whose proposal best serves the interests of the TOWN in the sole discretion of the TOWN.
