Site work and paving for a road / highway in Freeport, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**AS OF 9/21/2021 AWARD INFORMATION WILL BE RELEASED IN 45 DAYS. Each bid must be accompanied by a bidder's bond in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the bid insuring to the benefit of the Village of Freeport, or a certified check of not less than five (5%) percent of the bid, made payable to the Village of Freeport, to assure the entering of the successful bidder into an acceptable contract. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals received and subject to these reservations, shall award the contract to the lowest qualified and responsible bidder. Bids which in the opinion of the Board, are unbalanced, shall be rejected. The Contractor agrees to perform and complete all work included in this contract, with the exception of Guy Lombardo Avenue, on or before November 1, 2021. The Village will be installing a water main on Guy Lombardo Avenue and anticipate completing the water main in late spring of 2022. Completion date for the resurfacing of Guy Lombardo Avenue will be July 1, 2022.
