Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Dennis, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This project involves improvements to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act at the Township's Chestnut Street Park. The following improvements are anticipated: (1) a hot asphalt pat shall be installed to provide access to the basketball court, the visitor seating and playground area; (2) two (2) ADA compliant/van accessible parking spaces shall be installed at the basketball court; (3) the existing basketball court shall be overlayed with hot mix asphalt, re-line striped and provided with ADA court poles and backboards; (4) the existing visitor bleachers shall be removed and replaced with ADA compliant bleachers; and (5) an ADA compliant playground structure/equipment with border and ground cover shall be installed. The Township is seeking engineering services to include surveying, design, preparation of bid specifications, assistance with bidding, construction administration, inspection services and as-built drawings. Proposals should address, and will be evaluated based upon, the following items/criteria and numerical point values: successful provision of engineering services for similar projects 40 points ability to provide comprehensive scope of services 30 points ability to complete project by December 31, 2022 15 points proposed cost of services including current staffing hourly rates 15 points Total: 100 points The Township of Dennis reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted. All costs related to preparation of the proposal response shall be borne by the proposer. Minority and women business enterprises (MBE and WBE) and Section 3 business concerns are encouraged to respond. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
