Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a library in Bayville, New York. Completed plans call for the addition of a library; for the demolition of a library; for the renovation of a library; and for site work for a library.

The complex located at 34 School St., currently has a village hall and museum (neither of these will be renovated by us), a boy scout room, a girl scout room, water department, and the Bayville Free Library. The Bayville Free Library is expanding to create a community room by taking over the water department. We will need to vacate the current water department and create a new space for them within the complex. We will also combine the existing boy scout and girl scout rooms into one multi-purpose room. Inside the library, we will be switching the children's room and the adult non-fiction room and renovating both. In addition, we will be creating three new bathrooms, while renovating the existing bathroom. New carpets and flooring throughout Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the BAYVILLE FREE LIBRARY, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. It is the BAYVILLE FREE LIBRARY'S intention to award the contracts to the lowest qualified bidder who can meet the experience, technical and budget requirements. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality and to accept such bid which, in the opinion of the Board, is in the best interests of the Library.
