The intent of this solicitation is to obtain pricing for and select a vendor to provide demolition and removal of CRS 2 Emulsion Storage Tank located at North Carolina Department of Transportation State Maintenance Yard in Wilson County Direct all inquiries concerning this IFB to: Roy Clark Procurement Specialist III Email: rclark1@nc.gov Phone: 919-707-2623 Written questions shall be e-mailed to rclark1@ncdot.gov by the date and time specified above. Submit Written Questions Vendor September 9, 2021 @ 12:00 pm EST Removal of Insulation to allow access to tank o Removal and off-site disposal of upper portion of TANK o Removal and off-site disposal of TANK base and associated piping and material o Loading and Transporting of all material for off-site Disposal o Removal of product by dry Ice or other comparable method for roll off and off-site disposal o Clean work area from all residual debris (remove and dispose off-site) o Vendor will have two (2) days to remove one (1) tank o All equipment must be removed from site when task is completed
