Renovation of a detention facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.

The work consists of kitchen cooler flooring replacement at the Wake County Detention Center located at 3301 Hammond Road, Raleigh, NC. Wake County provides minorities and women equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of its construction program consistent with North Carolina Law. Wake County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. The Contractor shall furnish and deliver all of the materials, and perform all of the work required by this Agreement and the following enumerated documents, which are attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully contained herein: General Conditions, Supplemental Conditions, Contract Construction Schedule, Specifications, Drawings entitled "Wake County Detention Center, Cooler Flooring Replacement" which Drawings are listed in the Specifications, Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond. Scope of work includes: 1. Removal existing floor top plates that are secured with rivet fasteners. 2. Install new 3/16" heavy aluminum tread plate top cladding bonded to floor panels with industrial grade adhesive rated for use in refrigerated rooms. 3. Joints to be staggered to span over floor panel joints. 4. Install security grade fasteners in accord with warrantee requirements. 5. Refer to the plan drawing showing dimensions and placement of new decks. 6. Reuse existing door threshold plates. 7. Provision and installation of all accessory hardware, perimeter sealants and coved base trim strips as needed for a complete and finished floor system that complies with all related NSF standards and local health department requirements. 8. Provide and install fabricated steel door opening restrictors to reduce clearance at 48" doors so as not to permit use of pallets. Four (4) each are required
