Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Rose Hill, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This solicitation includes two separate (2) projects which seek to enhance pedestrian safety and intersection improvements on Rose Hill Drive and Rugby Avenue. Each project will be awarded separately to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders have the option to bid on only one project or both projects. Rose Hill Sidewalk Project UPC#108757 (VDOT revenue sharing funded) Rose Hill Drive and Rugby Avenue Intersection Improvements Project UPC#108755 (VDOT revenue sharing funded) Due to restrictions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, public access to City facilities is currently prohibited. The City is still receiving and accepting deliveries from shipping services such as USPS, FedEx, and UPS. No consideration will be given to the date of postmark or error in delivery to the incorrect address. It is the responsibility of the Offeror/Bidder to ensure timely and correct delivery of their proposal/bid regardless of the chosen delivery method. While on City property Offerors/Bidders are expected to adhere to CDCguidelines, restrictions and social distancing rules must be observed. Work to Commence: Four (4) weeks from award of contract Final Completion: Forty (40) weeks from the work to commence date
