Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Tippah County Board of Supervisors, marked on the outside as Bid for Tiplersville Water System Improvements Cdbg 2020, Cdbg No. 1136 20-070-pf-0 A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the owner negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an accepted Surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract amount.
