Site work for a water / sewer project in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Allen County Stormwater Improvement Project 10-021 Allen County Stormwater Improvement Project 10-0521 All questions must be in writing and submitted via email to Jack Krouse at Jack-K@cc-inc.net and Dawn.Rose@co.allen.in.us no later that 4pm on Monday, September 13, 2021. The bid shall also be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100 % of the contract price shall be required upon notification of the successful bidder prior to signing of the contract. The Board of Commissioners of the County of Allen, Indiana reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and reserves the right to waive irregularities. Scope of work is comprised of two projects (A & B) that can be bid individually or together. The plans have been developed by the Allen County Surveyor's office. Project A - Installation of storm pipes through the north/south "Bullet Barrier Mound" utilizing: Option #1 Two, 38"x24", Elliptical RCP Pipes or Option #2 Two, 36" Round RCP Pipes Only one Option can be used. They will also be required to create a "flow path" from the new pipes to the existing 48" CMP pipe that carries water to the detention pond through the east/west north bullet mound shown on sheet "OUT" 7 of 7. Additional work under Project A will be the installation of two new 12" RCP under the entrance drive shown on sheet PP1. All work will include the items shown on various appropriate sheets including but not limited to trash racks, removal of existing pipes, ditch profiling, concrete, erosion control blankets, stone, landscaping, surface remediation of the site, and entrance drive repairs after the work is complete. Project B - Installation of 24", new storm pipe on the west side of Adams Center Road, running north and south, and repair work where water eroded the adjoining banks. This will include all items shown on the drawings for a completed project. The installation of the pipe will involve the removal of several landscape items. Once the work is complete the owner will remediate this loss of trees and scrubs, understanding that every effort should be made to minimize the loss.
