As of June 15, 2022, this project is in the planning phase. A general contactor has been selected. A firm construction timeline has not been established. Arizona Western College is accepting Sealed Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) New Residence Hall. Arizona Western College reserves the right to accept or reject any submission as deemed in the best interests of the College. Arizona Western College is a comprehensive, multi-campus, residential, public two-year college primarily serving the population of Yuma County. Yuma County is located in Southwest Arizona, with a population of approximately 132,000 dispersed over an area of 6,200 square miles. AWC was founded in 1964 and currently serves over 11,000 students (6,500 full-time student equivalents) at two college campuses and four centers, as well as numerous other locations throughout the county. AWC seeks to build a New Residence Hall on the Yuma Campus. The concept possibilities for the building are still being explored. Anticipated Notice to Proceed 12-01-21 Anticipated Start of Construction Summer of 2022 Anticipated Completion of Construction Fall of 2023 Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond each for 100%
