The project is located within the City of East Liverpool at the City's Water Treatment Facility located at 2220 Michigan Avenue, East Liverpool, Ohio, 43920, and partially involves work within the Ohio River. The following is a description of work to be performed. "Contract A" includes the installation of two (2) new passive intake screen systems including the corresponding hydroburst system & air lines, raw water intake conduit, valving, permanganate lines, and other associated incidentals; all as further described in the construction drawings. "Contract B" includes the removal of the existing raw water intake structure and corresponding incidentals; all as further described in the construction drawings. Each bidder shall be required to complete and file with their bid the enclosed Bid Guaranty, Performance and Payment Bond, Warranty Bond Form (Section 153.54 O.R.C.) issued by a Surety Company licensed and authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio. Each bid must be accompanied by either a Bid Bond in the amount of (100%) of the "Total Amount Bid" or a Bid Guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in an amount equal to (10%) of the "Total Amount Bid". "Contract A" and "Contract B" will be contracted for separately. The City of East Liverpool reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work. No bidder may withdraw their bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
