Bids will be read in accordance with current social distancing guidelines adhered to. Site Access: A pre-bid conference will not be held. In lieu of a pre-bid conference a representative of the Owner and Architect will be on-site on September 9th, 2021 to provide access to the site, and record attendees and bidder questions that will be responded to in a subsequent addendum. In order to adhere to social distancing guidelines access all attendees shall conform to current PPE guidelines for the GDC, WA Dept of Health and WA Dept, of Labor & Industries Bonafide Prime General Contractors and Subcontractors may obtain a maximum of 2 sets, and others a maximum of 1 set. Additional sets of documents may also be purchased directly from ARC for the cost of printing. Documents will be mailed or delivered for the cost paid directly to ARC. Electronic Bid Documents may be obtained from ARC Document Solutions via download from ARC'S Public Planroom free of charge. ARC Bid Documents Return: Deposits will be returned to Bidders upon return of the Bid Documents to ARC in good condition within 10 days following Bid Opening. Bid Security: Accompany each Bid with a certified check, cashier's check, or surety company bid bond in an amount not less than 5 percent of the Base Bid. Make payable to Auburn School District. Right to Reject: The Owner reserves the right, to reject, any and all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities in the bidding, and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interests of the Owner. Withdraw of Bid: Bidders may not. withdraw bids after time set for the Bid Opening, unless Award of Contract is delayed for a period exceeding 45 days.
