Site work and renovation of a civil project in Buena Ventura Lakes, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of April 5, 2022, a shortlist of prospective design firm has been released. A firm timeline for construction has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Questions Due Date: Sep 20th 2021, 12:00 PM The selected consultant will provide site investigation, improvement alternative evaluation, preliminary and final treatment plant upgrade and/or expansion design, construction administration services, startup, and other miscellaneous services as required. The existing BVL WTP has a permitted treatment capacity of 5.04 MGD utilizing two on-site groundwater wells as water sources. The existing treatment processes consist of granular activated carbon (GAC) system, ground storage tank (GST) with aerator and recirculation, high service pumps (HSPs), sodium hypochlorite storage and feed system, and fluoride storage and feed system. In general, the upgrade and improvements of the WTP may include, but are not limited to, the following: Well improvements Chemical system improvements HSP improvements Building improvements GST improvements. GAC system improvements Site improvements Other improvements that may be needed to meet future need and for long term operation The Sunbridge WTP is a new 1 mgd chloramine facility with ozone treatment that will be expanded and converted to free chlorine. The initial conversion and expansion project is anticipated to be between 2 and 4 mgd additional capacity. Future expansions and upgrades may be included in this assignment. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
