Site work for a water / sewer project in Davidson, North Carolina. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project improves capacity limitations in the existing sanitary sewer by replacing 4,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipe, ranging from 8 to 18-inch diameter, in the Town of Davidson (adjacent to Council Districts 2 and 4). The project route will begin near the intersection of Hillside Dr. & Lorimer Rd. and will end near Davidson Elementary School. In addition, the project team will replace an aging force main beginning at Concord Rd., running north along Thompson St. Construction is anticipated to begin in Summer 2022 and be completed in Fall 2023.
