As of February 3, 2022, a joint design build team and architect have been selected for the project. PROJECT NO. 17-124 The District of Columbia ("District") Department of General Services (the "Department" or "DGS") is issuing this Request for Proposals ("RFP") to solicit design-build proposals ("Proposal(s)") from offerors ("Offeror(s)") interested in serving as the design-builder ("DesignBuilder") for the modernization of Dorothy Height Elementary School, which will be located at 1300 Allison Street NW, Washington, DC (the "Project"). RFP Questions due to the Department: September 13, 2021, at 2:00 pm Notice of intent to award (anticipated): October 29, 2021 All questions and requests should be directed to the Department's POC Offerors are required to submit with their Proposals a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) Substantial Completion Date October 15, 2024 Final Completion Date January 15, 2025 The Department reserves the right, in its sole discretion: a) To cancel this RFP, in whole or in part, at any time before the opening of Proposals and/or reject all Proposals
