Site work and renovation of a civil project in Verona, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Pumping Station 17 Rehabilitation portion will upgrade MMSDs facilities in advance the significant increase in anticipated flows to the station. The rehabilitation will include improvements such as: new pumps and associated piping, electrical improvements to support the new pumping equipment, a new standby generator, replacement of HVAC equipment, and replacement and automation of station valves. The Force main Relief Phase 2 portion will complete the relief force main and provide additional conveyance capacity. Phase 1 was completed in 2021 and installed approximately 6,955 feet of force main and Phase 2 will install the remaining length of pipe needed, which may be as much as 9,800 feet in a combination of force main and/or gravity interceptor. This could potentially involve connecting and directing flows to a portion of the downstream existing force main.
