Demolition, site work, paving, remodeling and addition to a mixed-use development in Brunswick, Georgia. Completed plans call for the addition of a 49,732-square-foot, one-story above grade retail development; for the demolition of a retail development; for the remodel of a retail development; for site work for a retail development; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of April 27, 2023. The project has not yet awarded. The successful Bidder shall provide all skill; labor, material, and equipment for the remodel to an existing 50,000 square foot warehouse building to include selective demolition of interior partitions, plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems as well as exterior site components and structures. Once demolition is complete a remodel of portions of interior spaces to include construction of new partitions, plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems. Site improvements shall include locating and identifying existing underground pipes, structures, and utilities and the removal or relocation of them from the building/construction area, and the installation of new site utilities to include sanitary sewer structures. All work shall be in accordance with the Technical Specifications and the construction drawings. All material shall conform to the specifications contained in the Technical Specifications. Any questions and /or misunderstandings that may arise from this invitation shall be submitted, in writing and forwarded, to the Procurement Officer, Resden Talbert at rtalbert@glynncounty-ga.gov no later than March 1st, 2023 All Questions and Answers submitted will be posted to the website no later than March 7th, 2023 All questions are required to be submitted in written form. Answers to questions submitted that materially change the conditions and specifications of this invitation for bid will be promulgated to all addressees as an addendum. Any discussions or documents will be considered non-binding unless incorporated and promulgated in an addendum. All contact concerning this solicitation shall be made through the Procurement Officer. Bidders shall not contact County employees, hired Architectural Firms, Department Heads, Evaluation Committee Members or Elected Officials with questions or any other concerns about the solicitation. PRE-QUALIFICATION QUESTIONNAIRES AND PRE-QUALIFICATION CRITERIA MAY BE DOWNLOADED Electronically. PRE-QUALIFICATION QUESTIONNAIRES MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 5 p.m. Friday March 8th, 2023. Please note that if you are submitting a bid you must be pre-qualified. Subs and/or suppliers to GC's do not have to be Glynn County pre-qualified. The Glynn County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive all technicalities, reject any or all bids, and make the award in the best interest of the County. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
