Renovation of a municipal facility in Hampstead, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Town of Hampstead is seeking for proposals for the replacement of the roof at the Meetinghouse. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, waive any informalities in the proposal process, to negotiate with any and all responsible qualified Proposers, and to enter into an agreement with the Proposer whom the Town in its sole discretion determines is in the best interests of the Town even though the Proposer may not submit the lowest bid or proposal. The Town of Hampstead, NH is seeking proposals for replacement of the roof at the Meetinghouse located at 20 Emerson Ave., Hampstead, NH The RFP shall include: o Removal and disposal of old roof shingles and materials. Building and landscaping to be tarped during removal process, o Repair as necessary any plywood, barn board, etc. o Inspect current ventilation components (ridge vent, soffit vents, etc.) o Inspect flashings and detail work and repair as necessary, o Supply and Install lifetime architectural shingle roof system and installation of manufacturer specific materials, o Plywood replacement (1/2" CDX) as needed, o Six feet of ice and water shield along eaves, o Synthetic underlayment on the remainder of the roof, o Eight inch powder coated aluminum drip edge around the entire Building (eaves and rakes), o High profile hard plastic ridge vent, o Pipe boots and flashing, o Cleanup of all debris in work area and disposal of old roof material, o Job to be completed to warranty specifications.
