As of February 24, 2022, this project was awarded to Flores Quality Services but awarded amount is not yet available. Intended to provide daily field operations relating to landscape, irrigation maintenance in the public rights-of-way and medians, trash and debris disposal services and bus shelter cleaning and maintenance along the seven economic development corridors within the District The selected contractor(s) shall furnish all personnel, labor, materials, tools, equipment and services required for daily field maintenance within designated open spaces and corridors within the District. Scope of Maintenance work shall include, but is not limited to; (a more detailed description of required services 1. Landscaping and Irrigation Maintenance includes mowing, edging, weeding, blowing, mulching, fertilization, landscape maintenance debris removal, and irrigation maintenance in public spaces, rights-of-ways, and medians in the District. 2. Trash and Debris Disposal Services includes pick-up and removal of trash, litter, and debris within the public rights-of-way to include, but not limited to, paper products, cans/bottles, bandit signs, and miscellaneous debris. 3. Heavy Trash Pickup within the public rights-of-way in addition to the routine trash and litter removal; to include but not limited to general household and/or construction debris, used appliances/furniture, branches, tires, and miscellaneous debris. 4. Bus Shelter Cleaning and Maintenance includes the services for the Metro bus stops with the District along designated corridors. 5. Splash Pad Maintenance includes the services for the operations and maintenance of the splash pad at the Park at Palm Center. 6. City of Houston and District Signage includes City of Houston regulatory signage and District Themed overhead signage 7. Supplemental Lighting Corridors includes decorative street lights installed within the District as per the attached docs. The anticipated project start date is Monday, January 3, 2022 or such other date as determined by the District. This contract is for one year with the option of extending the contract up to three years (one year at a time), upon review and negotiation of costs not to exceed 10% in any given years. Questions concerning this Invitation to bid must be submitted via electronically on or before 5:00 p.m. (CST) on Thursday, September 23, 2021.istrict will provide a response to all questions via an addenda issued electronically by Monday, September 27 by 5:00 p.m. (CST). The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities in the bid and minor irregularities, technical defects or clerical errors The selection of a qualified bidder for the Right-of-Way Maintenance Project will occur at the 11-10-2021 Greater Southeast Management District board meeting Project awarded to Flores Quality Services
