The University System of New Hampshire, representing the Plymouth State University (PSU), is seeking construction management services to provide construction services for Hyde Hall Renovations. Plymouth State University is soliciting Construction Management Services to provide multi-year renovations for Hyde Hall. The scope of these renovations will include, but may not be limited to, the following: Interior Renovations Throughout Life Safety and Building Code Upgrades Bathrooms Roof Replacement Elevator Fire Alarm Fire Suppression System Mechanical Room Hazardous Materials Abatement Extensive Renovations to Existing Utility Infrastructure (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) This project will be executed under a construction management form of delivery. Architectural and Engineering Services have been solicited and selected through a separate process. A Significant portion of the project is to address the building maintenance backlog. The project will include a complete renovation of the mechanical, electrical and life safety components. Hyde Hall is PSU highest used academic building on campus. During the academic year work will be performed in a manner to minimize the impact on building academics. The full range of sub-trades normally associated with a project of this type, will be required. It is expected that the construction management firm will work closely with the university/college and the architect. The Owners representative(s) and the design professional will assist the construction manager in identifying and selecting the appropriate qualified sub-contractors for this project. Awarded firm will be expected to provide payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of one hundred (100%) of the contract sum, as security for the faithful performance of its contract and for the payment of all persons performing labor or furnishing materials in connection therewith. The bonds shall be drawn and have as surety a surety company acceptable to the Owner. The bonds shall be worded exactly like the bonds referenced in these documents.
