Renovation of a water / sewer project in Newport, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The bids submitted by the Manufacturers will be evaluated by the Owner and Engineer based on the criteria specified in these Documents. Each bidder will be notified of the Manufacturer selected. The selected Manufacturer will be the basis of design for the project and the Manufacturer must provide information requested by the Engineer to assist in preparation of the detailed design and layout of the equipment for the Construction Bidding Documents. The selected equipment will be listed in the subsequent Construction Bidding Documents at the fixed price established by these Bidding Documents and will be a sole source purchase by the General Contractor. If the Construction Contract is not awarded, the Owner will have no obligation to the selected Manufacturer. All questions shall be submitted per Article 6 below.
