Remodeling and renovation of a municipal facility in Lompoc, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility; and for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Fax or email inquiries to: Purchasing@ci.lompoc.ca.us The City of Lompoc asks for your quotation and bid to provide all labor and materials for The City Hall lobby renovation. During this project Santa Barbara Countys most current COVID restrictions and guidelines need apply. This Scope of Work will allow City Hall to open and conduct business in person safely in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic by allowing for and encouraging social distancing in addition to assisting in deterring and the prevention of COVID-19 Contraction. The renovation will consist of new counters, protective glass on top of the new counter tops that separate the public from City of Lompoc employees, new flooring, new glass doors as well as remodeling an existing conference room into the new receptionist area. The project will consist of these branches of construction; carpentry, tile/stone, glass installation, drywall, electrical, flooring and painting. This project is essentially located in the center of City Hall which will require that the project area be covered by plastic, drop clothes or other means to ensure that dust, debris and volatile smells stay contained in the work area. This bid will need to be itemized with total costs (labor and material) for each phase, due to budgeting there can be a possibility that one of the phases will be vetoed. All bids shall be accompanied by cash, a money order, or a cashier's certified check, payable to the order of the City, amounting to ten percent (10%) of the bid, or by a bond in said amount and payable to said City, signed by the bidder and a corporate surety, or by the bidder and two sureties who shall justify before any officer competent to administer oaths, in double said amount over and above all statutory exemption. Successful bidder shall furnish within eight (8) consecutive calendar days after written Notice of Award, a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract. Interested bidders or their representatives are not allowed to communicate with City staff regarding this solicitation.If any bidder is found to be in violation of this provision, the City reserves the right to reject their bid.
