As of February 4, 2022, this project is in the final planning stages. Construction is anticipated to commence spring 2022 and be complete fall 2022. PN - 18719.21.MNS, 016.0043.2021, 016.0043, 087-21 Single Story precast wall truck garages. Low slope roof construction. Cast in place foundations and floors. CMU interior walls. Each building will have mezzanines and wash bays. Bids that shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the Base Bid submitted, made payable to the Owner, as guarantee that the Bidder will, if awarded, enter into a Contract in accordance with Contract Documents and submitted bid. Each Contractor shall be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Material and Labor Payment Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Amount. Contractor in receipt of awarded bid shall have not more than Fourteen (14) months from the date of the Notice to Proceed to complete the project to Substantial Completion as defined by the contract and not more than Thirty (30) days after Substantial Completion for final completion. Each site shall be completed simultaneously. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any informalities in bidding, and to award the contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in the discretion of the Owner, the interests of the Owner will be best served thereby. The Owner further reserves the right to hold all legitimate proposals for a period of thirty (30) days after the date fixed for the opening thereof without exception.
