Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Union City, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and transportation facility.
The Everett Stewart Regional Airport is soliciting bids for paving. The access road from the old taxiway to the Ag -Pad site on the South end of the field is approximately 687 ft long and 12 ft wide. The Bid is to include grading and compacting aggregate base, and then paving a 2" compacted asphalt base with at least 1"inch compacted asphalt surface. For more detail or to view the existing site, contact Chris Rodgers, Airport Manager, at 731-885-1221. No fax bids will be accepted nor will any bids postmarked late. All bids must be sealed and the accompanying certifications and two affidavits must be signed with the proposal. The awarding of the bid will be a Notice to Proceed issued after the determination of the best bid based on compliance of the absolute specifications as listed herein. The Everett-Stewart Regional Airport reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part and to waive any irregularities in any bid. The Everett-Stewart Regional Airport seeks to award the job to the best overall bid. In order to bid, you must show proof of Workman's comp Insurance along with General Liability Coverage in an amount of $1,000,000 or greater.
