As of 11/11/2021, project was not awarded. it will re-bid. a timeline for re-bid is unknown . A cashier's check, certified check, or surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid will accompany the submitted proposal of each bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All questions and substitution requests must be submitted to the Architect's office no later than 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 23, 2021. The Project consists of selective demolition of an existing restroom and new ADA compliant restroom. The Project also consists of the installation of two new wheelchair lifts, and the alteration of the entry into the cafeteria to accommodate the new wheelchair lift. Owner intends to occupy the existing buildings during construction. Project No. 170.21 TIME OF COMPLETION Bidder must agree to commence work on a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" and to substantially complete the project within the amount of consecutive calendar days stated in his proposal of "Notice to Proceed". The bidder must agree to fully complete the project within Thirty (30) consecutive calendar days after Substantial Completion. PERFORMANCE, PAYMENT, AND DEFECT BONDS (For bids in excess of $50,000 dollars) It is understood that Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount covering faithful performance of the contract, and payment of all obligations arising there under, will be required by the Owner. A Defect Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount covering defective workmanship and materials for a period of one year after acceptance of the project will be required. Premiums for the performance, payment, and defect bonds are included in this proposal.
