Renovation of a water / sewer project in San Saba, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Rehabilitation of the Owner's existing standpipe storage tank including recoat and repairs of the storage tank. Owner's existing pump station will also be modified to maintain pressure while storage tank is offline (alternate bids for VFDs and constant pressure valve will be taken). Alternate bids will also be accepted for alternative tank coatings, a safety railing, and tank lettering/logo. Bid Bond: 5% Performance/payment Bonds: 100% The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Affairs and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or national origin. Adherence to the grant recipient's Section 3 Policy is required for all contracts and subcontracts. All contractors that are debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or full under this project. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, and Women Business Enterprises, and Historically Underutilized Business firms are encouraged to submit bids. Mandatory Prebid: N/A Construct work as described in the Contract Documents. 1. Provide materials, equipment, and incidentals required to make the project completely operable. 2. Provide the labor, equipment, tools, and consumable supplies required for a complete project. 3. Provide the civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and all other work required for a complete and operable project. 4. Test and place the completed project in operation. 5. Provide the special tools, spare parts, lubricants, supplies, or other materials as required for the operation and maintenance of the Project. 6. Drawings and Specifications may not indicate or describe all of the work required to complete the project. Additional details required for the completion of the project are to be provide by the CONTRACTOR and coordinated with the ENGINEER. Each bidder should visit the site of the proposed work and should become acquainted with the existing conditions and facilities, the difficulties and restrictions pertaining to the performance of the contract
