Site work for a water / sewer project in Hays, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project consists of one or more of the mentioned improvements and estimated quantities throughout the City of Hays: 1,545 feet of 8" waterline along 6th Street from Pine Street to Montgomery Ditch; 721 feet of 8" waterline along 25th Street from Oak Street to Vine Street; 516 feet of 8" waterline along 25th Terrance Street from Oak Street to Pine Street. In addition, this project includesthe installation of 2 new fire hydrant setting are located on 6th Street. At said time and place, and promptly thereafter, all Proposals that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, a certified check or a bid bond, payable to the City of Hays, Kansas, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. The bidder to whom a contract is awarded in excess of $100,000.00 will be required to furnish a Contract Bond and Payment Bond executed on the specific forms and acceptable to the City of Hays, Kansas, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount Bid. City of Hays reserves the right to reject or accept any and all bids/proposals, to waive any irregularities in such bids/proposals, and to accept such bids/proposals that are the most responsive and best suits the City of Hays. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 (sixty) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the written consent of the City of Hays, Kansas.
