The Village of Hilbert will receive sealed bids for the following work: Multi-Use Trail Contract No. 1126-21-02 The unconfirmed bid results will be publicly read aloud after the bid portal closes on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. local time. A pre bid meeting will not be held. Project Description: This project includes a new multi-use recreational trail near the Village of Hilbert High School in accordance with the plans and specifications. A more detailed listing of those improvements is as follows: - Excavation, grading, installation of base course, and installation of electrical conduit. - Installation of lighting polls and electrical connections (Alternative). If a check is submitted, it must be received in Robert E. Lee & Associate's office by the posted bid date/ bid time. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part of a bid. Further, the Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid. The Owner reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of any item or portion of the work, or to omit portions of the work as may be deemed necessary by the Owner; and the same shall in no way affect or make void the contract, except that the appropriate additions to or deductions from the contract price will be made. The owner encourages DBEs including MBEs and WBEs to submit bid proposals. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The letting of the work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin State Statutes, in particular 62.15, 66.0901, and 66.0903.
