Renovation of a municipal facility in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of an office development.

Work of this Contract comprises of the selective demolition of the existing (base building) CCTV Security System and installation of new CCTV Security System. The existing Analog CCTV system will remain functional for the tenant equipment, and base building cameras will be replaced with upgraded POE IP cameras and tied into an NVR dedicated to the base building. Base building cameras being replaced will have the coaxial cable removed, and a new cat-6 cable run back to the new NVR (located in B-0016). All wiring must be in conduit. The work will be completed in conjunction with another base building project. The two Contractors may need to collaborate work schedules, but generally will remain separate. There is an option of running the required conduit while the T-bar ceiling is removed in the other project, if schedules can align By submitting our response to this solicitation, we confirm that we have read and agree to comply with the terms and conditions of this ITT, and we agree to provide, upon request, all documentation without modification as defined in this ITT. BGIS reserves the right to reject our submission should BGIS fail to receive the required documentation. A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, is permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site. COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to. Masks must be worn for the duration of the site visit. All respondents must submit their questions for clarification on this portal only at website.
