Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Darlington, South Carolina. Working plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Darlington County, South Carolina is requesting proposals from qualified firms to chip all standing trees and remove all wood debris from the Darlington County I-20 Industrial Park. Darlington County I-20 Industrial Park is located on SC Hwy 340. The Industrial Park consists of approximately 165 acres with approximately 75 acres of standing timber which includes both pine trees and hardwoods. The clearing project will require all standing trees chipped and hauled to a qualified papermill or an alternate outlet approved by Darlington County. No more than 3 small piles of residual debris can remain once the chipping/clearing is completed. The project must be performed in such a manner that will not violate any local, state, or federal laws. Vendor will provide insurance listing Darlington County as the additionally insured on General Liability, Auto and Workers Comp Insurance as well as provide proof of insurance certificate. All subcontractors must be legally certified and carry proper insurance. Work should begin by November 15th and all work shall be completed by December 31st, 2021. The contractor shall furnish a 5% bid bond for bids greater than or equal to $100,000.
