All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted via Periscope S2G NO LATER THAN 2:00 P.M., EDT on OCTOBER 4, 2021 Description: PROPOSALS SHOULD BE BASED UPON THE FOLLOWING DESCRIPTION OF WORK : Construction Management services required for the modernization of Pine Grove Elementary School within the established Construction Budget and in accordance with the established Project Schedule. The project shall meet the program requirements established by the Owner and be within the DOE mandated cost per student station. The modernized school will be located on the site of the existing school as a 503 student station facility to include new construction and remodeling or renovation of existing buildings to remain as deemed necessary. Temporary holding for school operations during construction will be required. Occupancy is scheduled for June 2024. The construction shall not exceed the established cost/student station established by the Florida Department of Education based on occupancy of June 2024. Based on the Florida DOE Student Station Cost Factors published 3/2021, the Cost per Student Station for this Project is $25,284.00. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER shall provide all Preconstruction Phase Services necessary to establish a GMP as well as all Construction Phase Services following Award of the GMP for the school identified in the Project Notification. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER will be required to complete portions of the construction on an occupied campus as directed by the OWNER. Construction shall incorporate all of the requirements set forth in the Permitted Construction Documents, School District of Palm Beach County Master Specifications, District Design Criteria, State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF) 2014, Florida Administrative Code (FAC) Chapter 6A-2 and Florida Building Code. The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER shall prepare all Project Documents in accordance with the requirements stated in Department of Education's Chapter 6A-2, SREF and FAC.
