Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.
Project work includes construction of a new bough based jail facility in the Bronx. Demolition of the existing complex and construction of the on site parking garage and community space are being preformed under a separate contracts. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Brooklyn Facility project consists of complete Design-Build services for a fully functional, operational, and maintainable new Facility to meet all programmatic requirements and with space for future community needs and other related activities. Demolition of the existing Brooklyn Complex located at the site will be performed by others. As of April 14,2025, project is in early stages of Design. A general contractor has been selected. Construction is schedule to begin early 2027. Estimated Project Cost per Facility: Manhattan Facility - $1.678 Billion Brooklyn Facility - $1.602 Billion Queens Facility - $1.695 Billion Bronx Facility - $1.617 Billion
